About Williams Electric

A local electrical company built from a father's dream and carried forward by his son.

Our Story

Built on Family, Driven by Craft

Williams Electric is more than a business — it's the fulfillment of a promise made to a father who never got to see it through.

David Williams Sr. earned his electrical license in 2000 with a dream of building his own company. Before that dream could take shape, he was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma. He passed away on December 21, 2001.

After graduating high school in 2002, I began my electrical career with Alexander Electric, where I had the opportunity to learn from some of the best electricians in our area. I spent the next several years learning both the commercial and residential sides of the electrical trade while growing a business of my own on the side.

In 2016, I earned my unrestricted electrical licenses in both Georgia and Alabama and became the first full-time employee of Williams Electric — the company my father always dreamed of building. Every job we take on is a reflection of that legacy.
